Is using too much smartphone associated with poor sleep, and cognitive failure?
Are you spending too much time on your smartphone such that it affects your sleep and daily cognitions? Self-report studies have showed that smartphone use is related to poor quality sleep and cognitive failure respectively. However, the limitation to these studies is that they looked at self-report smartphone use which has been found to be unreliable and highly inflated. Hence, we aim to look at these relationships by measuring objective smartphone use and a diary study to track participants sleep and cognitive failures daily.
